The paper titled “A Study on the Comparison of Labor Force Levels Before and After the Kahramanmaraş Earthquake: The Case of the Kahramanmaraş Textile Sector” was awarded the “Best Paper Award” among 296 papers prepared by 478 academicians from 185 institutions and 23 countries at the 10th International EMI (Entrepreneurship and Management Studies) Social Sciences Congress, held between 10–13 September 2024 and hosted by Valahia University of Targoviste in Romania.

This study, prepared within the scope of a TÜBİTAK Project, was conducted by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zümrüt Hatice Şekkeli, Prof. Dr. İsmail Bakan, Assoc. Prof. Dr. İnci Fatma Kurtulgan, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mehri Banu Erdem, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Harika Özkan.

Participants from Turkey, Romania, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, the United Kingdom, Canada, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), Uganda, the United States, Germany, Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, India, Norway, Ukraine, Italy, New Zealand, Argentina, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Bahrain, Morocco, and Nigeria attended the congress.
